Poor service
After I make my order and pay the bill. They sent me an email requiring me to provide further information to confirm my id and address. Bank account statement is not accepted as a proof of address. They only accept gas, electricity bill which is not available because I live in a student apartment.

Finally, I have to cancel my order and ask for refund.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE
After sales service appalling.
Difficult to contact.
Do not respond to complaints quickly if at all.
Contact address is France.
The manuals for the products I purchased were only in French and Dutch and their download of a manual from the web did not work.
I would never buy from them again

Absolutely appalling
I ordered an "in stock" item which I was then told wasn't in stock 2 days later. 3 weeks later, I have phoned and emailed but have NOT had my money refunded. Customer Services claims to have no record of my calls or emails. They STILL have my money (even though I've ordered and received the item from another supplier!). Do not trust this website under any circumstances. I am nearly 300 quid down with no apparent prospect of receiving a refund for an item that I have cancelled!

Pixmania
Just took delivery of a digital photo frame ordered from Pixmania. Packaging is OK but the glass screen had no protective plastic bag or film. As a result the staples from the instruction booket have scratched the screen during transport. The product is French, made by Coskin and now looks very secondhand. Pixmania is insisting that I pay for and arrange the return of this faulty unit. This is in breach of The Sale of Goods Act and the Home Shopping Distance Selling Regulations. My credit card company has happily put a stop on all transactions from Pixmania.

Pimania expects the customer to fund the cost of returning their shoddy goods and then - wait for it - write to an address in Paris to get your money back!

Most retailers send a replacement and pick up the faulty unit at the same time.

Pixmania also tries to fob you off and asks you to contact the manufacturer if there is a technical problem with your product.

Otherwise their prices are good and in the past I have bought TVs and Home cinema products from them with very quick delivery and good prices.

But NEVER AGAIN until they provide a proper returns service. It just isn't worth the risk

Pixmania - watch out!
When getting to the checkout, they load on unexpected and unwanted extras onto your basket - they can be got rid of, but not easily.
Then, be aware that they are based in France, and a UK credit card could very well fail when trying to order for security reasons.

Cheap and easy
Have used Pixmania several times without any difficulties. One time I experinced a dealy: I ordered a Camara for a birthday gift, and it was one day delayed, which meant I wouln't get it on time for the birthday party.
Pixmania made a special delivery by Parcel Service, without extra charge - so the camera could get to me in time anyway. Thats service for you...

Poor customer service
The customer service from this shop is appauling. They don't seem to know what's going on, one person tells me my product's being shipped tomorrow, the other tells me it's been out of stock for weeks. When it finally arrived, the instruction book was in French. Useful. I've had friends who's orders have arrived on time, if only they could guarentee that service for everyone!
