ordering and customer service
have been a cutomer of studio for a couple of years now. Have always found, when telephoning, staff to be polite and helpful. It is straight forward and easy to order online and you do not have to pay for items until they are dispatched to you. I have only ever had to return one item and this was collected by studio's couriers on time and the return was on my monthly statement. I have always received my statement on time.

rubbish service
made order in December delivered in February - first letter was statement 5 they had added £20 admin charge and £1.09 service charge. I am not going to pay this extortion. I shall not be using them again or recommend them to anyone

Unbelievable
I cannot believe that this company haven't been shut down. Someone has to do something. I myself am having to take them court. No goods supplied, and no refund either - but 4 MONTHS of lies and massive phone bills. The last time I phoned I was told to "F*** off you b****" and was hung up on. I was in tears, I haven't done anything wrong! They've taken my money, a few hundred pounds - not a small amount! - and are refusing to return it. It is absolutely disgusting and the Twenga description of this company needs a drastic review. Christmas was ruined, I've got bank charges and phone bills to pay, and now I have the added stress of a legal battle, well thank you very much Studio!

never set up an account with this company
I am having trouble with the company at the moment. I have not had a statement of account from them for the last four or five months, I have telephoned them after I had a letter telling me I was late with my payments, they replied that this was my fault and even though I had not received anything from them I should still make a payment !!!! Last Thursday I received two letters both dated the 9th February from them one saying that they needed me to pay my account in full, another saying if I paid so much and carried on making payments there would be no further action. I immediately made a payment to stop any further action. I also received a telephone call from Studio when i explained the situation to the girl, she said that she would send me some bank giros so that I could pay my account at a bank even if I did not receive my statement of account !!!! Yesterday I got a letter dated the 7th February saying I had to pay in full. When I rang the lady who I spoke to was very rude, and basically didn't believe that I had made a payment, and said that if the payment to the bank cleared to ring them and they would see if it was possible to arrange a payment scheme, even though Studio have actually sent me the bank giros.

So be warned this company is just one big con

They Are Just Plain Awful
I am actually going to dedicate a website to how bad they are as a company. Wrote to their parent company. If need be I will fund my own marketing campaign to bring them down!!!

COWBOYS!
I've occassionally ordered the odd item from studio and always pay the whole amount by cheque when the statement arrives.
Just before xmas I ordered £84.90 worth of goods which arrived in 2 separate parcels a couple of days apart. A statement arrived from them in mid-January, saying that as well as the £84.90 I was also being charged £20 administration charge and £1.02 service charge. Tried phoning, only to get a recorded message telling me to try again later. This went on for a week. Finally got thru to some guy called Mohammed who'd obviously failed the IQ test for McDonalds. Apparently I was being charged an extra £21.02 because I hadn't paid the previous statement-despite the fact that I'd ordered all the goods online in one go there were-supposedly-two different statements. Not that I'd received the first one-Studio don't send out regular, monthly statements like other companies do; you just have to guess as to when one will arrive.
Anyway; Mohammed eventually agreed to cancel the administration charge but still insisted that I paid the £1.02 "service charge" [which is actually interest]
Have just sent off a cheque for the full amount-less the £1.02- and won't be ordering from them again; certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

DON'T BOTHER
Called up, ordered at beginning of december. all easy.
got a letter saying it would arrive in 21 days.
21 days passes.
and some more.
an email arrives saying they are out of stock.
hugely disappointed - was expecting before xmas now not got one at all. so not buy from here they are UNPROFESSIONAL!!

DON'T GO NEAR THIS COMPANY
IF YOU WANT TO BUY FROM THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER - THEN GO AHEAD. I AVE WRITTEN, EMAILED AND TRIED T PHONE AND AM UNABLE TO GET ANY HELP . NO REPLIES TO EMAILS OR LETTERS, CAN'T GET THROUGH TO CARELINE. ONLY TAKES 2 RINGS TO GET THROUGH TO SALES THUGH.

STAY CLEAR - MOST OF THEIR STUFF IS POOR QUALITY ANYWAY.

Rude staff and thts when you finally get through
I would suggest people dont use this company. You can't get through to the "careline", and when after 4 weeks of trying I did get through thse staff were rude and unhelpful.

Not a good company and would love to know who runs this joint as I can't believe they run a company this way.

Worst company ever!
Please don't buy from this merchant.They never attend phone, NO customer care.They are ready to take orders but never ready to help or sort out.

some success
After writing to Findel via Email I had another response from A lady called Elaine from Studio cards.

I have to admit that she was very apologetic and we did sort out my out of date vouchers and the cost of my phone bill due to calling their expensive line.

Though I did get the feeling she didn't quite understand how bad the service was as I was told that it was a busy time and that all calls are monitored for bad service and abusive staff. If she was a customer in our shoes she would realise. She then went onto saying that they have 1 million customers and that 125+ complaints is a small amount, but customers for any comapny should not have trouble resolving issues as you do with Studio.

I sent a link to this page which I hope she reads and she did say that she was looking into all the issues and I brought everyone who sent me their stories of this company their issues to her but she really couldnt do I lot i guess but apologise. I hope she does look into this as with some issues are Fraud related and also very bad for the company. I also asked her how she would feel if two payments were taken from her account and then she couldnt get through but she said she couldn't comment on other peoples issues.

Again she did all she could and has promised the credit and reinburshment of my phone calls (we shall she if this happens first) but it shouldn't take going to the top to sort out minor issues!!!

Rip-off merchants
Just like many of the other reviewers, I placed my order with "24 Studio", and asked them not to send me any junk mail. Despite repeating this plea numerous times, I am still be bombarded with catalogues and crap.

My order - a package of "24 Season 5" and five boxsets of Alias, all for £34.99, turned out to have expired. They had no Alias stock, just sent the "24" DVDs to me, then decided to charge me more than half their original price for this sixth of the entire order.

Complete rip-off. Avoid like the plague.

Rude abusive staff
I have just tried calling the "careless" line, several times over the month with no answer, my phone bill is huge from trying and I tried the orderline and got people being foul mouthed and rude towards me.

This company is a rogue trader at best.

Please take my advice and do not order from this company.

BEWARE
After cancelling an order I had my credit file with xxxerian updated by 24studio with a negative entry. This was done for no reason other than pure spite and this alone has to make this "company" simply the most dodgy I have ever encountered, incidently this was my first experience of this lot. What a nightmare. STAY WELL AWAY!!!

Update
Just to update you, 24 Studio's Customer service manager sent me them Vouchers and guess what.....

THEY WERE OUT OF DATE!!!

And when I tried to call him as he asked me too contact him, I got the same old rude abusive call.

I hope people read this before they order. My Account will be closed and I just hope anyone is looking at thi sincase they want to use 24studio,,,, don't don't don't.

Your better off with a proper Catalogue company, one which values its customers.

I'm not exagurating by saying this really is a company where they dont know what they are doing, there is no control on their staff and they dont rate customers or treat the, (we pay their wages may I remind them) they just want your cash and run.

Again, I am wanting peoples horror stories with this company so I can present all the cases and hopefully get the company a good kick up the A**E!!

Hello

As below i worte about them and asked you email your problems.

And send the same letter too the contact us page on the website.

I got their customer service Manager write to me with £40.00 gift voucher and an apologetic letter as it had been past on by one of their directors. Findel is who own them. It works and you will get it sorted!!!

I havent yet had the problems of money with them but Ive only had one statement. Luckily I now have the Customer services managers direct number and email and he has told me to contact him in future as he didnt want me to close the account hence the vouchers.

What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right where do i start? I cannot believe the hassle i have incurred with this company but was pleased to read other reviews so i know that i am not alone when thinking this is the worst company i have ever had to deal with. I am currently housebound so decided to shop for all my christmas essentials with studio 24, thinking this would be convenient. Couldnt have been more wrong. Firstly placing an order was a joke, had difficulty hearing the advisor due to a time delay on the telephone, the advisor became annoyed yet asked me to spell everything word for word. Most of the products i wanted i was told were out of stock and wont be coming back in. When i didnt receive confirmation to my order by email i became worried, 2 days later after trying to get through to their so called "careline" i rang back the orderline as i was worried about my order. The man on the otherend of the phone told me No order was placed. I was pretty much fed up with them and told them to cancel everything and i wouldnt be shopping with them again. 3 days later, what turned up? All of the products that i ahd enquired about but was told were out of stock and DID NOT order. (Products i went on to find somewhere else) I was so annoyed as i did not place this order and was not going to be liable the costs for sending them back along with the £4.99 delivery charge. I could not get through to the careline for another 2 days so i sent them an email. 2 days later another box turns up with all the stuff again!!! Another £4.99 charge on my statement for delivery so my account was now showing 2x all these products i hadnt even ordered. After another week of constantly ringing and emailing 24studio, i got no reply. I finally got an answer and i couldnt believe what i was hearing. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my whole life. Was basically told that i made the order so deal with it. The lady on the phone had reduced me to tears she was so rude as i am so stressed with the whole thing and was so angry that they told me i had made the order when i hadnt. I cannot believe how a company like this is still open. I have gone on to report them to watchdog and urge others to do the same. They should not get away with this.

not the best
all orders have come ok and my statements have been ok, i pay it at the bank not by debit card. I have had to return two items because they were not what was advertised ie not leather but man made. I was credited for my returns ok but i have sent them a letter about the return postage costs as i feel they should pay for this. I tried to call loads of times but never got any joy. So far no reply to my letter after one month. I might report them to the trading standards.
So dont order any leather goods as they will be plastic.

Avoid!
I Ordered a DVD boxset collection and only half of the order arrived. I telephoned 24studio several times and was told a different lie by each person I spoke. I am still awaiting delivery of the other part of my order 6 weeks after ordering it.

Absolute cowboys. Rubbish company
You place an order. Email says "usually get goods in 7 days but please allow 14 days". You dont have a customer number until your bill arrives (which means no way of cancelling/adjusting). You account then says please allow 21 days. When nothing turns up, they tell you "allow 14 days on top despatch date". When nothing arrives 6 days before xmas (and no time to order anything online from a decent company), they tell me "even though your account has been marked as goods despatched, the supplier can not supply them after all". Never met such a useless company as Studio. No doubt the returning of the goods I did get will just be as painful. STAY AWAY!

SAVE YOUR TIME
Don't bother ordering anything from this company, even if it is worth a £ or you think you've got a bargain that's saving you a £1000!!, they advertise items that they can't supply and make you think its on its way, even change the status of the order as dispatched but guess what?? nothing turns up!! what a suprise!! nothing turns up maybe because they fooled you, made you wait 21 days, got your hopes up high and you get tempted to call enquiring about your product on an 0870 number which just robs your money and you talk to some freak who don't deserve his job!!

Daylight Robbery
Yet again, another Statement that i have not recieved. I checked my account balance on the phone as i knew my payment is due around now, only to find its 2 days late and i have incurred £20 admin charge for late payment. This has happened about 5 times now. The charges have cost me more than the goods. makes you feel like a criminal that has been fined, they never send out ovedue account letters to remind you. you do not get a chance. most companies send out overdue account letters giving you more time to pay without incurring charges. £20 is absolutely ridiculous. as if the service charges are not enough. They must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Rubbish
Anyone with any complaints I know how hard it is too contact them but type express gifts Ltd into Google and ring them, it starts 0121...they are the head office and I got through to a gentlemen to complain to.....dont ring studio

And if anyone has a dodgy story I would be interested to know as i'm going to contact Watchdog about them.

Rubbish customer service
I have used this site a few times now and everytime I receive my order something is either faulty or incorrect. If you call them it takes ages to get through and if you e-mail them you usually don't get a reply. They are quick enough to take your money but don't want to know if you have a problem.

I wrote to them 4 times to try cancel an order, but they just ignored my emails. I have also tried to call but you could never get through.
If they don't have the product you order in store, they might send you a subsitute without telling you and if you want to send it back, you can expect to pay for the postage. Whatever you do don't give them your credit card details, as some has already sated, they might charge you double. I think the police should look into this company.

Watch out for the massive service charges!!!
What can i say, paid over £50 for a bit of wrapping paper, unable to pay on line, did not receive statment through post so got charged twice at £20 for missed payment.

Absolutely rip off of the year, will never purchase from them again!

Customer care - They don't care
When I received the invoice for goods received, I decided to pay in full by debit card. BIG MISTAKE. They took 2 payments out of my account. Two months down the line I'm still waiting for the money they owe me. They have ignored all my emails and when I've eventually got through by phone, all I got was promises and a bigger phone bill. They are the worst company I have had to deal with,( and if and when I receive my refund) will deal with no more. I would recommend everyone give them a great big miss.

After sales care a joke
So far, total rubbish. The company and it's products maybe fine but to try and get any after sales help from their so called CARELINE is an utter joke. They have not responded to my emails (2) and there is no way you can get through on the phone - I have been trying for two days now at different times of the day.

I really don't know what else to do.

Wot no Customer Care?
One item was out of stock despite being available on the website, another item (a crockery set) was delivered very late and was then found to be of such poor quality (poor glaze, colour match and at least one crack!) that we wanted to return it. When you phone the helpline, at any time of the day it seems, you either receive an infuriating message and are then cut off, or it rings whilst your phone bill increases. Emails are not answered. BUT you can get through to the Orderline immediately but they repeat like robots that you need to phone the Care line and that they cannot help you and have no manager to pass you to. Not impressed at all. Buyers beware...other companies are far better than this one

Happy chappy
The site was simple enough to use, although the layout was a bit cluttered. But I was able to find some great deals. I also like the fact that you can obtain and save credit on your account! I will be visiting 24 studio again, I was a happy customer :)
