AirWired lossless signal transmission ensures excellent sound quality, while the two 8cm speakers deliver powerful sound with robust bass. Concert Quality Sound The PDX-50 delivers much better sound quality than other wireless systems. Yamaha's original AirWired technology uses linear PCM data communication, giving uncompressed and lossless audio at the same high quality as CD. Add a Yamaha-quality 15W x 2 amplifier and two large 8cm (3-1/4") speaker units, and you have a top-class sound system for enjoying your iPod/iPhone music library. Perfect Sound Syncing with Movies Wireless technology can often cause a delay which means that when you watch movies or videos on your iPod, the sound is not synced to the picture. The PDX-50 features real-time signal transmission, so movies look and sound natural in perfect sync. Colour Variations The PDX-50 is available in four colours: black, blue, grey and pink. Match it to your room or your iPod. Simple, Convenient Operation Unlike Bluetooth systems, no pairing is necessary - you just activate your iPod for an instant wireless connection. And when you turn your iPod on and off, the speaker unit turns on and off. What's more, and unlike other wireless systems, you can adjust the speaker volume with the iPod volume control. Total Flexibility Because it's a wireless system, you can put the speaker unit anywhere - on a shelf or cabinet, or in an out-of-the-way corner. The iPod or iPhone connects to the transmitter, which is itself compact, so you can carry it around.
