Designed for the enthusiast videographer, FX7 includes manual controls for zoom, focus, shutter speed, white balance, iris and gain. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T Lens with Extra Low Disperson glass reduces lens flare and ghosting for more precise images without distorted colour fringing. The 20x optical zoom allows you to get close to the action from a distance and a newly incorporated digital extender function can magnify up to 1.5 times achieving 30x optical zoom without significant loss of picture quality. Additionally, Super SteadyShot optical image stabiliser is on board to help reduce shakey images in high zoom situations. Unique Sony functions such as Dual Record and Smooth Slow Record are achieved thanks to the high speed data processing of the 3 ClearVid CMOS Sensor.
