The Easyshare C140 needs to be 13cm away from the subject in order to be able to focus. There are also a number of preset scene modes. By selecting the appropriate type of scene the camera is able to automatically change key settings in order to produce the best possible photographs. The scene modes are: portrait, night portrait, landscape, night landscape, sport, snow, beach, text, backlight, museum/manner, fireworks, high ISO, children flower, self-portrait, sunset, close up, candlelight, blur reduction. Power is supplied by a couple of AA batteries.
