Bought a Sony DW-D22A and it worked fine for about 5 months. Now it will not read a blank cd or dvd. No help from Sony. They do not even list it as their product and will not answer e-mail ...

I have used 7 of these in a DVD duplicator for a year now, and I have burned over a 1000 DVD's and about 200 CD's, and they have worked very well. I would highly recommend the Sony DW-D22A DVD Writer.

Sony offer no help at all on the Sony DW-D22A DVD Writer. The tech and customer service departments are very unhelpful. The DVD Writer does not read and it doesn't burn.

SONY DWD-22A

It was fun at first, but it would not recognize a DVD after 1 year. It also makes very loud and strange noises while loading. I have a new DVD burner on the way, which will replace the Sony ...
