The Netgear DG834G solves this problem and provides more features you probably didn't know you needed. The DG834 connects to an ADSL broadband connection, the sort supplied by BT and Pipex. Once this stylish silver box is powered up and connected to the ADSL line it will share the internet with any type of computer connected to it whether is runs OS X, 9, Linux or even Windows. If you have very thick walls range may be limited, but even in the worst case you should be able to get 100m range.
