The B-300 and B-500DN printers utilise Epson Micro Piezo™ technology to make brilliant colour print outs as affordable to produce as typical mono prints from other printers available on the market. Jordi Castillo, product marketing manager at Epson, said: “The launch of the B-300 and B-500DN Business Inkjet printers represent a revolution in office printing. With these products, business users can now benefit from a marked improvement in the quality of office based colour printing at speeds that rival the fastest alternatives on the market. For businesses, this means that colour print work that would have previously been outsourced, such as brochures, direct mail shots and estate agents’ property information sheets, can now be produced in the office, on demand; representing significant potential to reduce outgoing costs.” The B-300 and B-500DN are both capable of producing mono or colour prints at up to 37 pages per minute in draft quality, and up to 33 pages per minute at laser-like quality. Consequently the printers are capable of handling workloads of even the most demanding working environments.
