16 programmes include a number of programmes to help all members of the family: a Baby Cycle has an extra rinse stage, ensuring all detergents are thoroughly removed; the Shirts Cycle reduces creasing for reduced ironing; and the Eco programmes work at lower temperatures, yet give you excelent cleaning performance.The Hotpoint WMF740K is particularly good at washing jumpers and cardigans. Its Woolmark Platinum Care cares for wool and cashmere garments as if by hand. The drum moves in only one direction during the cycle, which means the garments are held to the sides of the drum, passing through water at the base. This means there less friction and no 'bobbling'. There’s also a Super Wash which attacks the most stubborn stains while a reduce creases option allows you to reduce the spin speed on a wash cycle to 400rpm.
