Such conditions include exposure to water, oil, dust and other debris as well as to corrosive substances such as solvent based products and salt water. An anti-reflective tempered glass covers the LCD providing both protection and reducing reflection by 90%. In addition the temperature management capabilities allow the display to operate within a temperature range of -20 to 45 degrees Celsius, significantly outside the operating range of a standard LCD panel.
