Bill and Robin create a 'reproducer' - a machine that can exactly reproduce any object. The device proves a success, and in the wake of the celebrations Robin announces that he is to marry the beautiful Lena . Bill is distraught, and decides to use the reproducer to create another Lena for himself. Lena and the local GP, Dr Harvey , have reservations about the plan but decide to help Bill.
